The PASMA Linked Towers for Users course is designed to enable the safe use of two or more towers joined together. Linked towers are used to access the entire exterior of a building for maintenance work including painting, plastering or window replacement.
The course involves spending one day at a PASMA approved training centre where you will learn how to safely assemble, dismantle, and use linked towers. The course involves a combination of practical and theory-based assessment and will take one day to complete. The training is based on using equipment that is accredited by British Standards BS 1139-6. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a new PASMA PhotoCard and Certificate detailing your qualification.
This is a formally assessed course for users of linked access towers. The course will enhance your existing knowledge of using access equipment and improve your understanding of combining two or more access towers. You will learn new techniques for linking access towers and using enabling components including walk-through or step-through end frames.
This course is suitable for people who have already completed the PASMA Towers for Users course. It is popular with people who have never used linked towers before, people re-taking a course following the expiration of a previous certificate, and people working to achieve Access Tower Specialist accreditation.
